Traduzionde di "Broccoli"

Q: Come si dice in Inglese (Stati Uniti)? I can't eat broccoli. I can't stomach broccoli. are they the same and interchangeable?
A: @Janie94

The short answer: I can’t stomach usually means you dislike something a lot. It can be anything not just food. I can’t stomach such a dirty house. (although to me, it’s not very natural- I would suggest only use this phrase when you are talking about foods that make you feel sick) for your example, they can both mean that you don’t like something.

I can’t eat broccoli- without any context- I interpret this as:

1) I don’t like broccoli.
2) I am allergic to broccoli.

1) Eww! Gross! I can’t eat broccoli.
2) I can’t eat broccoli. I’m allergic.

I can’t stomach (something) means that if you eat you will probably throw up or get sick.

I can’t stomach fast food. I will feel sick all day.

Usually “to stomach” is read with can’t or couldn’t - it’s the same.

1) you don’t like it and will probably throw up
2) you do like it but your body does not physically accept it (alcohol usually)
