Domande riguardo a frasi esempio con, spiegazione d'utilizzo di "Bunker"s

A: "Bunker up/down" means to find shelter/to find a place to stay. 找到躲避

A: It means to settle down for a while and wait for a difficult situation to pass or end.

A: in this case it means getting back to work to fix an old problem.

A: I always thought they were the same thing, interchangeable. But I just googled it and discovered this: A sand trap is a bunker filled with sand, so it can still be called a bunker. But a bunker doesn't have to be filled with sand, so it can't be called a sand trap.
I don't know which one is more common, but I have heard both used a lot.

A: trapped and caught can mean the same thing (usually when one is pinned etc) but in this case saying 'caught' will make people wonder if you mean trapped/locked in or if you mean caught there by someone when you were not supposed to be there.

in something like below you could use either:

"As he tried to run down the hall to escape the burning house, a beam from above fell and caught/trapped him under it - pinning him to the ground."

A: Trapped means you cannot get out. Caught means you were seen there.
