Question 1: Yes, I do. My mother had enough of my terrible cooking, so she forced me to learn how to cook. I think cooking for my family sounds appealing.

Question 2: I like writing diary entries because I like to write down what went on in the day. It helps me remember the progress I’ve made and helps me fix anything harmful or wrong in my life.

Question 3: I would get up and watch tv with my little brother. We were immature, so tv easily attracted our attention. But we enjoyed doing it. (A note: It’s not really naive or immature to like tv. I think I understand what you’re saying; children have simple minds, so they’re easily captivated by the lights, sounds, etc of colourful tv shows. But there’s nothing wrong with that; adults are like that, too. So I personally might just say, “we were young, so tv easily attracted our attention”.)

Question 4: I like sunny days. I like the sunshine on the rocks. When the sunlight emerges, I feel warm and comfortable. And I really enjoy the glow of the sunset in the afternoon.

Question 5: I feel uncomfortable, especially in wet and cold weather. I can’t bear it. That is the worst combination. I put on clothes, but they don’t do anything. I worry that I’ll catch a cold in that weather.

Question 6: I usually take the subway because the pricereasonable and the atmosphere is quiet. It’s also quite speedy. It takes very little time to get to my destination.

Question 7: I like to eat chocolate because it’s smooth and tastes palatable. (A note: I might say, “it tastes good” or “it’s tasty/delicious”. Saying it “tastes palatable” almost sounds like the taste is just acceptable or adequate rather than delicious, even though I know “palatable” means tasty. Just as a native speaker, the word “palatable” doesn’t really communicate deliciousness to me; but hey, maybe that’s just my opinion!)

Question 8: Yes, I do. Puzzles can make you more intelligent, and it could improve my memory by making me concentrate only on one thing.

Question 9: I like word and picture puzzles best. I have a good memory, so I can remember the context. I’m eminently suitable for word and picture puzzles. (A note: not sure what you meant by “remember the context”. For pictures, maybe you can remember the picture without looking at it too much. For word puzzles, it really depends what you mean by a “word puzzle”. There are several kinds. “Remember the context”… it isn’t very clear to the listener what you mean by that. At least not to me. I might say instead, “I can remember lots of details”. But again, it depends what you mean by this.)

Question 10: Yes, I do. I use it every day. Lots of young people are using it to meet people with the same interests. I want to meet them, too.

Question 11: I think it’s TikTok. Watching short videos is popular these days. A lot of young people use this app to make friends and watch videos they like.

Question 12: I like to go to parks. I like sitting on rocks feeling the sunshine on my body. Feeding ducks and birds and enjoying my leisure time makes me feel better. I also like sitting and watching the glow of the sunset.
