I mean, do you say "as you mentioned before" in talk?
A: "as you mentioned before" is correct and very common. Other common ways to use mention could be:

"I heard you mention earlier."
"I'll mention that to him."
"Did she mention me at all?"
"Don't mention it."
The last one is a way to respond to someone who thanks you for something that may be an inconvenience to you. It's similar to saying "No problem!" in American English.
