Altre domande riguardo "Selfless"

Q: ‎"The most selfless thing you can do is take care of yourself. " Why does it say "is take care" instead of "is taking care" or "is to take care"? I notice many natives say that way.
A: @Crszhx

This is one example of something you will notice a lot, if you look for it – native speakers will make persistent mistakes if it is 1.easier to say, and 2.does not interfere with the meaning.

Because you are correct – it really should be, is to take care. But we shorten it because to us, it sounds better – but more importantly, it still means the same thing. There is absolutely no confusion about what we are trying to say.

Many people who are learning English try to shorten sentences in a way which they think is natural, but they forget the most important part – does it still make sense? Is there absolutely zero chance of being misunderstood?
Q: Per favore dimmi come si pronuncia With selfless faith.

He’s as selfless as the day is long.

Which one would I use?
Q: She is utterly selfless. sembra naturale?
A: Yep, sounds good
