what's the difference?.
A: Great Question!!^^
Well, what's the difference skilled and skillful. I show you some examples....

Skilled :-  is especially appropriate when referring to physical laborers and workers. In the two sentences below, skilled again suggests that the workers are experienced and trained, and most native speakers would not use skillful in these contexts.

The positions at the factory are for skilled workers only.

He is a skilled carpenter.

Skillful :- means expert and effective, without suggesting anything about the lawyer’s training. The lawyer’s skill may reflect his interpersonal skills more than his background.

The lawyer’s skillful handling helped his client feel relaxed and comfortable.

Skilled means having lots of training/experience and it is the best word to use when talking about workers and laborers. Skillful means expert at a particular job, but not necessarily because of training or experience.

I hope this helps.

Q: Qual è la differenza tra skilled e proficient ?
A: I don't think there is a difference in America. They are synonyms. We use skilled more than proficient. We use proficient most often to describe how well a person speaks a language.

She is proficient at speaking Chinese. (We would say this more often, but both are correct.)
She is skilled at speaking Chinese.

He is a skilled carpenter. (We would say this more often, but both are correct.)
He is a proficient carpenter.

In a specific context one will fit better than the other. But generally, they are the same.

Q: Qual è la differenza tra skilled e skilful ?
A: “Skilled” is like a less formal version of “Skillful”.

You might say, “He is a very skilled artist” or you might say, “He is a very skillful artist”.

Either one sounds natural but I would say “Skilled” is more typically used. :)
Q: Qual è la differenza tra skilled e expert ?
A: oh OK can you please pronounce them both skilled and expert
Q: Qual è la differenza tra skilled e skillful ?
A: There both kinda the same both mean talented just used in different context, I believe.

For example. 'skilled' would be used to describe someone like. "Be cautious not to get on that mans bad side. He is very skilled with a sword."

'Skillful' would be used to describe what is currently happening, I believe. "He is wielding his sword very skillfully."

'skillful' can also be used in the same context as the first example as more of refined and polite way of saying it like "He is quite skillful with a sword."

So its really up to you what to use and how you decide to use it.
Q: Qual è la differenza tra skilled e skillful ?
A: They are synonyms and can often be used in the same way.
Someone is skilled/skillful at doing something (Sarah is skilled at debating, John is skillful at writing)
Someone is a skilled/skillful something (Sarah is a skilled debater, John is a skillful writer).

There is a small difference in this example:
"skilled men/women" = the men/women have skills (they can do things).
"skillful men/women" = the men/women have very finely trained skills (they can do things really well).
The same thing applies to "skilled labour" vs. "skillful labour".
