Q: Che cosa significa Did these two suspects kill or kidnap these two kids??
A: @Laid-backCoke It can be used when you want to make your words clearer, or show a relationship between things:

"He is 25, as in: not a child anymore"
"The chemicals being put together led to a combustion reaction, as in: fire"

Apologies if this does not sound natural in Korean, I am not fluent. But I tried to translate it to Korean for a better understanding.
In English, if I had to simplify this sentence, I would say - This is a rhetorical question. A rhetorical question is any question that is asked to make a point and not to get an actual answer. For example, "Such a good man! Where can I find a man like this these days?" You are not actually asking someone where you can find a man like that. It is a question you are asking to show that he is a good man.

This sentence is rhetorical. There is no other reason that he would think of himself as a suspect. Why else? What other reason can there be? So it is meant to say strongly "This is why he would think of himself as a suspect."

Q: The suspect hit him with something like blade in his face. he was bleeding from his cut, and he got serious injury with 80 stitches. How could that happen? sembra naturale?
A: I would say culprit instead of suspect, as the suspect just refers to the person who is being suspected of having done it, while culprit refers to the actual person who did it.

Unless of course you mean a suspect to a different crime (which was being investigated at the time of this incident) did that. Then it'd be okay to use suspect.
