Hello, I am 27-years-old and Canadian. I want to be able to communicate with people from all over the world without facing a language barrier. I am a native English-speaker and will be glad to help you learn and practice English.

My goal is to be intermediate or fluent in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in my target language (日本語). I also want to teach English and have genuine friendships with others. Learning a new language helps me to immerse myself in an entirely new world.

I enjoy correcting your English to help you learn and practice through trial & error. My method is to be realistic, whilst avoiding being pedantic and making hypercorrections.

I’m looking to make new friends! I want a friend I can develop a deep and meaningful connection with that will last long-term. I enjoy learning about other languages and cultures. I started learning Japanese in October of 2023 because my girlfriend is Japanese and I want to improve our communication, I also want to be able to talk with her family and friends. I plan on visiting Japan soon. However, I am also interested in other languages and cultures. I recently visited South Korea and enjoyed it a lot. I wanna go to South Korea again! Therefore, I am also interested in learning Korean.

I plan on visiting Japan soon. When I am in Japan, I want to travel to and visit many different prefectures and see various cities, towns, villages, farms, mountains, forests, beaches, 温泉, shrines, temples, castles, parks, festivals, and other attractions. I try to study Japanese daily for at-least one hour per day. I have learnt Hiragana, Katakana, around two-hundred Kanji, and over seven-hundred words. I am currently aiming at achieving an N-five grade on the JLPT.

I completed a course to become qualified to teach English as a foreign-language, but I do not work as an English teacher. I am working in my field of study (OHS). I plan to return to school to study a tech field.
