In these times, more and more students choose volunteering during holidays instead of working for money. Like any form of work, volunteering has both advantages and disadvantages. Before you start, it's worth getting to know them to see if it's definitely a job for us.

First of all, the main advantage of volunteering is the opportunity to gain experience that is necessary in further professional life. The volunteer not only learns the profession, but also how he interacts with the group, organizes his work and cooperates with another human being. Volunteers often oversee really serious and responsible tasks. They are not afraid of many challenges, they are more courageous.

What's more, volunteering is not only hard work - volunteers often get free tickets for various events, premieres, films, performances, matches ... In fact, everything they can help. In addition, during such events, volunteers get to know a lot of new and valuable people. Often, friendships are made of such contacts for years. Volunteering can be an excellent adventure!

On the other hand, the main disadvantage of doing this type of work is the lack of remuneration. Volunteers usually devote a lot of time and energy to their tasks, therefore they treat it almost like a full-time job and do not have much time for other activities. It is difficult for them to find time to rest, entertainment, which are also needed to function normally.

Another problem is that the volunteer's hard and unselfish work is underestimated, and his opinion is not taken into account - in the end he does not earn, so he is not a full-time employee. In addition, it may also happen that the volunteer will be used in the company for such tasks that he should not perform.

On the balance, many students choose volunteering as a holiday job. I think that there are as many pluses and disadvantages in this work.
