I want to say "ya cambié mi foto de perfil" how am I supposed to say that? [I've already changed my profile picture] or [I already changed my profile picture]
And why? What's the difference between using "have changed" and "changed"?

La diferencie es muy sutil.
I’ve already changed my profile picture seems to me to be more recent that I already changed my profile picture. But they are pretty close to interchangeable.

It would be better to say “I’ve changed” because it sounds more fluent, however in schools they prefer you write all of it out as “I have changed” but that sounds too formal to me.
