Hi guys! I have a sentence "I'm dropping you a line just to let you know I've moved"
This is a sentence I should make more formal. And it relates to some kind of CV. I can't understand what does it mean? Sure, I got the first one "I'm dropping you a line" means something like "I let you know", but the second part? "I've moved" In meaning moving from one place living to the other one? But it's a bit strange.. So, what guys can you tell me about?

I think it's moving from one place to another. Like they've moved houses or office location, etc.

The business is in CV there is no idea about moving. So I thought if the sentence will be with "if", that would be good, yes. Like "I let you know, if I will move". Or can such type of sentences imply "if"?
