is there any sort of "streetlang" of italian? for example in english there's a "gangster speak" where some sounds change and certain words don't conjugate ie saying "be" instead of "is" or "are" or "am"

Italian changes from region to region, therefore all the slangs depends on where you are. Usually people talk dialects at home or with friends. I guess it is better for you to learn the 'correct' italian, since dialects are totally different from one to other.

Noi non abbiamo gli "streetlangs", abbiamo i dialetti.
I dialetti sono delle lingue, da cui è derivato l'italiano, ormai usate solo dagli anziani, in cui si modificano quasi tutte le parole e i suoni, anche gli accenti, ma i ragazzi non li usano più.
