"In terms of" means "regarding" and sounds very business like or analytical.
For example : The court case did not cost much in terms of money, but it turned the public against us."
"As for" means that you are speaking only as it relates to a particular topic. Usually, you use it to contrast two things: "My daughter loves to draw, but as for my son, he prefers to dance."
"Your sister cleaned her room, so she can stay up late tonight. But as for you, young man, it's bedtime!"
"About" is a preposition. It can have many meanings. It can mean "regarding" but it can also mean "approximately."
"Let's talk about where we're going on vacation."
"I guess there were about 3000 people at the game."
