This would be a better way to say it "There is a sidewalk one block down from a house. It has lots of cafes where you can wait."

By “pedestrian street” you mean those zebra (black and white) paths? They’re called pedestrian crossings/zebra crossings/black and white crossings

@SparksNine but, “sidewalk” refers to a part of a street (the sides), not to the entire street. So how is it called a street with chairs and and tables from restaurants, where there is no road for cars?? 🤔
- Inglese (Regno Unito)
Naturale
It is called a pedestrian zone or( in your example) a pedestrianised street - sidewalk is not used in British English - we use pavement
Your text is almost perfect:
There is a pedestrianised street one block down from the house, called “Blai”, and it has plenty of cafes where you can wait in the meantime.

Un po' strano
There is a pedestrian street called “Blai”, one block down from the house. It has plenty of cafes where you can relax and enjoy your wait.
“Pedestrian street” is correct: a street which is blocked to vehicle traffic.
