There are a lot of differences but the most different one I think is that our way of thinking is1 totally different sometimes

The one main difference that I noticed are, Western culture is more individualistic. It stresses on independence, free will, autonomy etc. The downside is that there's a tendentious for people to become selfish.
Eastern culture is more collectivist. The family is a more important unit than the individual. In turn, the family will always be there for you to support you in times of crisis. In return, you are expected to return the favour when they become old. Leaving them at old age homes is considered as a selfish thing to do since they cared for you throughout your growing age.
In short, it's a culture that puts much emphasis on the strength and sanctity of relationships. Your happiness is important but at the same time valuing your family's opinion. This is the general case, however, there can be varying perceptions individually.

In eastern countries,the people value the “position ”more.It’s not only the social position,the status,but also the position among the friends,relatives and acquaintances.More important,the work he takes and the contribution he makes.Have a fine position could make the individual a good wheel gear and much more valued.In that case the things about the individual’s inner-ward won’t be paid much attention to.

The Chineses can access to WIKIPEDIA freely if they get a VPN,which is a kind of goods,just like any family devices,could be purchased by everyone.In another word,you won’t get limited if you pay 5$ more per month for such kind of service. I have to admit it’s a kind of weird, but things are not so bad as you think.
