the book said that when I use the past tense ending for honorific form 으셨어 with every verb stem ends with a consonant except withe verbs ends with ㅂ .. I should use 으쎴어 .. but then in the first verb he gave example with .. contains ㅂ at the end of it and he used 으셨어 with it .. why was that ? can anyone explain it to me ?

I think the explanation on the book is wrong. There are some irregular forms and you'd better memorize them.
*입다-입으세요 // 잡다-잡으세요 // 집다-집으세요 but 밉다-미우세요 // 덥다-더우세요 // 춥다-추우세요 (I just found the "regular ones" are verbs and the "irregular ones" are adverbs but I'm not sure if there's some grammar..sorry)
*믿다-믿으세요 // 뜯다-뜯으세요 // 닫다-닫으세요 // 묻다(to bury)-묻으세요 but 듣다-들으세요 // 걷다-걸으세요 // 묻다(to ask)-물으세요
