Hindi and urdu are kinda same and understandable to each other it's spoken in north india and pakistan....Bengali is different language with different words and grammar but it's 10-20% intelligible to hindi speakers it's spoken in indian state of west Bengal and Bangladesh....Telugu is Dravidian language with complete different words and grammar and completely unintelligible to hindi speakers it's spoken in Indian states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

Hindu, Bengali, Telgu and Urdu are quite different languages concerned in different parts of India. Where, Hindi is the mother tongue and is spoken in almost all of the India. The latter are spoken in some particular states. If you want to learn then you i suggest you to learn Hindi as almost all of the India speaks Hindi along with their native (except some states and territories)
