Domande Inglese (Stati Uniti)
People say "one second(please)" when they want to tell someone to wait for them. and practically the "one second" can be a few seconds or even a few minutes.
how about "one minute(please)"?
even when the wait is gonna be done in a split second(like literally within a couple seconds), can I still say "one minute"??

These are all ok for a few minutes:
One second
Just a second please.
Can u please wait a few minutes?
Hold on, I’ll be right back.
For a couple seconds:
It’ll literally only take a few seconds.
I’ll just be a few seconds.
