Beide sind falsch.
Richtig wären:
1. Auch Ich lese Bücher - das betont, dass andere Leute auch Bücher lesen.
2. Ich lese auch Bücher - das betont, dass ich auch andere Sachen außer Bücher lese

Das auch kommt immer direkt vor dem Nomen, das betont wird

Im Hauptsatz steht "auch" nach dem konjugierten Verb.
