[*not sure what is meant by edition, but if you mean “editing” then you could use that instead]

@nm0168 Edition being the fact of designing pages in newspapers, magazines,it is really associated to the press in general. In this case I think that "editing" doesn't work, does it? I have learnt that editing was only associated to movies and how you edit them, using montage.

If someone described themselves as an “Editor” I would assume they were involved in editing print media, such as books, newspapers, magazines etc.
If the word “editing” is used alongside illustration, I would think you are referring to photo editing by context. You could be more specific and state what exactly you are involved in editing?

That is exactly it, she edits print media, like books, newspapers and magazines as you said.
So can you put something like "I take (a?) special interest in illustration and (print media?) editing?"

She could say “I take a special interest in illustration and the editing of print media”.
I also (in retrospect) think it wouldn’t be completely misunderstood if she simply said “I take a special interest in illustration and editing”.
It is difficult as, not working in that area, I’m unsure whether the expected reader would automatically associate the word “editing” with print media or image editing.

This all sounds good! But it would be better to say:
‘I am currently a third year Graphics Design student, studying in -insert university name- in London. I am specifically interested in illustration and edition. I am looking for an internship from September to January of this year’
