안녕하세요! So, I have a doubt and I hope someone can help me out!
I recently started learning about the irregulars (this concerns the irregular ㅂ) and it says that in words like 돕다 or 곱다, the ‘ㅂ’ turns into ‘오’ when followed by vocals like 아/어 or any derivative like ~았/었다 or ~아/어요.
But, when followed by any other vocal, the ‘ㅂ’ turns into ‘우’.
Does this also happen when followed by a consonant?
Sorry if it’s a silly question, but yeah haha:)

i think, "NO".

e.g.) 귀엽다.(cute)

when 아/어 is inserted after this, it changes irregularly.
귀여워.

but consonant is not that case.
귀엽고.
귀엽지만.
귀엽군
귀엽지
귀엽잖아

ㅂ is still there.
