Någon, något, några och Ingen, inget, inga — which should I use and when?

It's confusing choosing the right word and I keep making mistakes

Вкратце:
någon - кто-то, кто - либо;
något - что-то, что-либо;
några - какие-то, какие-либо (множественное число от первых двух).

Отрицательный ряд:
ingen - никто,
inget- ничто,
inga- никакие (множественное число от первых двух).

någon and något means the same, but någon is used when refering to "en"-nouns (i.e. nouns like "en katt"), and något is used when refering to "ett"-nouns (i.e. nouns like "ett hus"). Några is the plural-form of någon/något. The exact same applies for the other three words: ingen and inget means the same, and inga is their plural-form.

Also, någon/ingen, when used alone, often refers to people. For example:
Kan någon hjälpa mig? = Can someone help me?
Ingen kan hjälpa dig = Nobody can help you.
