Canadians could find anyone attractive. Our country is so diverse that mixed race relationships are very common. Not everyone shares the same opinion but it is more common for people to be open to finding a partner from a different group.

I'll be honest I'm actually more attracted to east Asians more than any other race including my own.
I just find east Asian men know how to look attractive and their masculinity is not so fragile you can cut it with a slow swipe of your finger, unlike western guys who are too afraid to clean themselves because they equate hygiene to being feminine... it's stupid.

I have a lot of friends who prefer east Asians over western guys because of the same reason, not just because western men have fragile masculinity but their appearances are super ugly too.
Sometimes they are too muscular or have very little head hair that doesn't even touch the ears, another reason I prefer east Asian men, they have short hair that at least touches the ears which is great, I prefer long hair but as long as the short hair touches the ears I'm fine.
East Asian men also are usually more lean appearing than western men which is also great, it's super attractive to me.

So yeah to answer your question it's a yes, there are lots of Canadians who date asians especially me lol, my only problem is I feel like they'd never like me back, I'm way too weird. 😅

@behappy3 Whether you are attractive or not doesn't determine to a Canadian if we'll treat you badly, discrimination is illegal in Canada so Canadians usually only hate you if you are a bad person at heart, some Canadians can be racist but let me tell you once someone is openly racist to you in Canada, every other person in the room will be calling the police in silence on their phones, I've witnessed it before except I went up to the guy and told him to "shut the hell up", I hate racists.

As for my personality, I don't know if my personality is weird, I was more so referring to the fact I have some mental disabilities, I know mental disorders have some stigma in east Asia but my disorders are nothing too serious, I'm high functioning disabled which means I function like a normal person and I'm very much aware that what I do is stupid but I can't help it, I do try my best to be as normal as possible though... I guess that's why I gave up on dating lol 😅

I think because we are so multicultural here, ethnicities don’t matter. If you are attractive to one ethnic group, you ‘ll be attractive to every group.

i’m canadian and my boyfriend is korean. a lot of my friends also like asian people. some people are racist and because of the coronavirus they are being a little more racist but there are people in canada who find asians attractive so if you really want to date a canadian person you should be able to. canadians are nice, some are rude but a lot of people i know find asians attractive and myself too. i think asians are attractive. i hope this helped

Younger people for sure. Kpop, and other Asian centered media is really popular here amongst gen z and millenials, it's a bit of a hit or miss for anyone older than that. Some people will, some wont. Most people dont really have an opinion, I think. They'll just date based off personality, weather they find someone attractive or not.

You won’t have any issue with discrimination if you’re living in a major city. The largest visible minority in Canada is Chinese-Canadian so pretty much everyone has encountered a Chinese person in their life. My two best friends growing up we’re Chinese (I live in Calgary). There’s not much societal discrimination towards Asian people in Canada, especially in heavily populated places like Vancouver or Toronto. These places are very popular with Asian immigrants. And of course everyone has their preferences but generally people will find Asians attractive.
