The origin of "The scales fall from eyes" is in the Bible. There is a living organism that epitomizes the proverb.
sembra naturale?

It's about a proverb(saying?): "The scales fall from one's eyes".
The living organism is snake. When it sheds its old skin, the skin includes the surface of its eyes.

Is "the origin of ~ is in ○○" is a correct phrase? Should I say "the origin of ~ can be found in ○○" or something like that?

I'm not sure of the second sentence.

Any correction will be appreciated. Thank you for your consideration.
