What does "of interest" really mean in here? Here is a sentence I read from my lecture notes. "Internal entities perform information processing activities in the system of interest". I'm confused about "system of interest". So what kind of system does that sentence indicate? I compare it to "of importance", if we say something is of great importance, it means something is important. So interesting system? It can't be right!

The system of interest indicates the system you are using. That would be your system of interest whereas it might be different for someone else.
