@Garciadanieltsr We use grades usually, I've never heard the term freshman through senior in schools in Canada, if you're in elementary then you're in elementary, juniour high? juniour high, high school? high school.
What year in high school? grade 10 or 11 or 12 (or sometimes 13)

For referencing grade level in high schools @kuzzy45 is correct—Canadians normally just specify the grade level.
So "freshman" year (US) = "Grade 9" (Canada), "sophomore" year (US) = "Grade 10" (Canada), "junior" year (US) = "Grade 11" (Canada), "senior" year (US) = "Grade 12" (Canada).
And for university, Canadians typically just specify the year of study.
So "freshman" year (US) = "first" year (Canada), "sophomore" year (US) = "second" year (Canada), "junior" year (US) = "third" year (Canada), "senior" year (US) = "fourth" year (Canada).

Also note the difference between US and Canadian ways of referencing grade level. People from the United States usually specify grade level in the form of "1st/2nd/3rd/Xth Grade" (e.g. "8th Grade") whereas people from Canada usually say "Grade X" (e.g. "Grade 8").
