In Spanish, we usally omit the pronouns, because the verbs are already conjuged for each person; it is different in English:

~ I do my homeworks and then y take a shower.
~ Yo hago la tarea y después me baño = Hago la tarea y después me baño

Hola, yo soy Andrés. ✖
Hola, soy Andrés ✔

Is even strange to add pronouns. BUT we use add pronouns when we have to compare ourselves with another person:

A) Hola, me llamo Andrés.
B) Hola, YO me llamo Pedro.

In this situation, it would be weird to say "Hola, me llamo Pedro" but it is addmissible.

A) Me gustan los perros.
B) A mí me gustan los gatos.

In this case, person B is saying that, in comparation of person A, he likes cats. It would be weird if he just say "me gustan los gatos" after A.

A) Me gustaría viajar a Francia.
B) A mí me gustaría ir a Alemania.

Here, person B is saying that in comparation of A, he would like to go to Germany. Person A don't have to say "A mí" if no one say that before.
