Sentences 1, 2, and 3 all sound very natural. Sentence 4 sounds weird to me.
None of the sentences say that you can go from B to A. I don't know if that's intentional, but you want the replacement to work in both directions here's some ways to say that:
"A and B are interchangeable."
"A and B are synonyms."
"You can replace A with B, and vice-versa."
"You can exchange A for B, and vice-versa."
("Vice-versa" means "whatever I said before, but swapped around".)
