(When speaking Korean) Is it ok to speak informally to Korean idols online if you’re a fan, but technically don’t know them personally? I’ve been stuck for so long not knowing if I should be formal or not when talking to idols online and seeing other fans being informal with them makes me more confused. Is it ok if you’re older than them? Does this all change if you go to a fan meeting to see them in person?

if you are older than idol, it's ok to be informal. but, if you say the word with formal form, they will be satisfying. I usually talk with them formally although some of them are younger than me. still I felt I love them and want to become closer but, distance will make them comfortable.

if you want to talk informally without any problem, you should confirm the age difference to them. most of them don't want fan's disappointing by speaking forms
