Hmmmmm. Sort of.
Sleight is only ever used in one single expression which refers to card tricks – sleight of hand.
Nobody ever says the word except in that one expression. And I can guarantee you that nobody thinks that the word itself means "having good skills". It just means, doing a trick.
Finesse means an extremely high level of skill. The best of the best. Very, very impressive.
It is also a much more common word and is used in several different ways.
