past = 배웠다 or 배웠었다
future = 배울 것이다 or 배울거다

how did you learn korean? = 너는 한국어를 어떻게 배웠니?
i learned korean = 나는 한국어를 배웠어
i'm learning korean = 나는 한국어를 배우고 있어
are you learning english? = 너는 영어를 배우고 있니?

@inthebeginning Thank you so much, but I have quite a few questions. I am having a lot of trouble knowing how to pronounce those endings (ㅆ has so many damn prounciations?!?!).

1. 배웠다 and 배웠었다how do you even pronounce these? It's so confusing to me. Is it 'bhae wass da' and 'bae was oass da'? It sounds so weird/unnatural to say it like that, so how do you even pronounce it?
2. 배웠어 - apparently this is pronounced with the double S, 'bwae wassoyo', but the other two forms above sounds so weird when pronounced with the double s?!?!?! How do you pronounce this properly?

aside from prounciation, i'm really confused because none of the present/past forms you use even match. specifically when i see 너는 한국어를 어떻게 배웠니? and 너는 영어를 배우고 있니? - netiher of these match to 배우다.
1) Why is it that both questions ends in 니 but the present and past verb you gave all end in 다?

Sorry for the long 3 questions, I am just so confused
