Domanda in primo piano

Example 1 is acceptable, but would sound uneducated.
Example 2 has an incorrect use of “an a.” It would just be “a.”
Either way, I would definitely use “much” instead of “lot.”
If you really want to use “lot,” it would be: “I could have done a lot better of a job.”
I hope this helps. 😊

This sounds more natural:
“I could have done a much better job.”

두 분다 옳지 않습니다. Use "much better job."
