this is my favorite photo of/from him
you should take photos of/from him
this is my favorite photo of/from him
you should take photos of/from him

@yrovi if it’s:
this is my favorite photo of him
Then that means that the person on the photo is him
But if it is:
This is my favorite picture from him
Then it means that he gave you a lot of pictures but this one is your favorite.
You should take photos of him.
