- Inglese (Stati Uniti)
- Spagnolo (Venezuela) Quasi esperto
Either one is fine. The only difference between the two is that the first is you taught this to me and it helped. The second is you taught this and it helped me. There’s little to no difference between the two!
- Inglese (Stati Uniti)
- Spagnolo (Venezuela)
1 “The method you taught me helped a lot.” It sounds more natural
- Cinese semplificato (Mandarino)
- Inglese (Stati Uniti)
@alinabi Both are correct grammatically but they have different meanings.
The first sentence emphasizes that “me” was the person who was taught and the teaching was helpful in general.
The second sentence doesn’t specify who were taught, but the teaching specifically was helpful to “me”.
Choose the sentence which is more relevant to what you want to express.
- Inglese (Stati Uniti)
1 is the teacher taught (me) the student by themselves
2 the teacher taught it to many people and helped (me)
1 you taught me
2 the lesson you taught (to everyone) helped me
