Qual è la differenza tra 막히는 길 e 막힌 길 ?Sentiti libero di rispondere con un esempio.

Hi, could someone help explain why 막히다 becomes 막히는, not 막힌 when it is conjugated to be in the noun-modifying form? What I learned was that for conjugating adjectives, we use (으)ㄴ; for verbs, we use 는. I looked up online and saw expressions involving both 막히는 and 막힌. Which would be correct and how are they different if they are both acceptable? Thank you!

You can distinguish each word with the aspect of motion and state. former means motion.
similar to "being stuck" and "stuck"

the former is used when
there is a street in rush hour.

the latter is used when
1. there is no way to go further

you can use both ㄴ and 는 for verb. But the two have a slightly different meaning.
막힌 길 means 'The road is blocked.' it is a completed situation. but
막히는 길 is more closer to
'the road is being blocked.' it is a present progressive form.
