It all means 'Your Majesty/His majesty". The appellation varies depending on who you are, what your social status is. It's very complicated so even us Koreans don't know exactly who called the king '전하' or '폐하' or '주상'.

In historical dramas, all people who's social status is lower than the king usually call the king '전하' or '폐하', and only the king's family calls the king '주상'. But I heard that is historically inaccurate, so bleh. Let's just say it's all the same.

@JinsengTea ah i see~ I thought at first its depend in what era the story begins. Because when I see movies and dramas they call Your Majesty with different ways. So I think they were in a different era which caused a change in the way to called "Your Majesty" 😅😅 thankyou so much for this information. I'm very interested in Korean culture. I want to learn more about this!!^^
