I was interested in the vocabulary blocking phenomenon, wondering if there was a regular and useful usage for advancing vocabulary acquisition. The purpose of the research is whether lexical blocking is useful for language acquisition. He searched for and considered what kind of blocking phenomenon exists in English and Japanese. From there, I described which phenomena are useful for learning. Learning involves consciousness and unconsciousness. It turns out that even words that are used unknowingly are not common because the premise is made by blocking. This is because there are individual differences in the internal dictionary, and the words that prevent them are not always prioritized. It can happen in dialects, so I would like to make it a future issue.
