I don’t think you will stand out wearing a kurta.If you are here as a tourist, kurta should be a good and comfortable option.

@Erebus1992 if you are coming on tour so u should wear a kurta but apparently we don't wear kurta usually u can rarely find only some along with wearing a kurta ..we only wears on vocation and on marriage ceremony basically for ya it's best option and every Indian will be pleased if you will wear our traditional cloths 🤗

@applesauce365 we don't wear kurtas usually, maybe during some special occasions, that's it. Seeing a foreigner wearing kurta won't be a problem but looking at a normal indian dude wearing a kurta all of a sudden will be odd for Today's generation as the only thing we usually wear are Jeans and T-shirts

@NavoneelMitra which part of India are you from? I'm from Kolkata and you will find people wearing kurtas or sarees any day of the week

depends on where in india you are going cuz in South Indian states women usually wear sari but you won't stand out 🥰
