Domanda in primo piano
- Inglese (Regno Unito)
It will be clear from the context.
If you are talking about spoiling a person (or perhaps an animal/pet), it means treating them very well, or even too well. Eg - I really spoil my dog. Or: She spoils her children by letting them do whatever they want.
The other meaning usually refers to something - e.g. she spoilt her dress when she spilt oil on it. Or: You spoilt the whole day because you were angry.
