"Fly off the handle" means get very angry or very emotional.
"Call someone out" means point out that someone is being silly, stupid, etc.
So:
Although we often get mad at people who tell us we are being too emotional, we need people that will tell us if we are getting too emotional.

We get mad easily when people tell us we are not acting "logically". However, we shouldn't become angry at them because we need people to be honest with us even when we're illogical.

acting out -- unrestrained and improper actions
Fly off the handle -- to get angry quickly/suddenly

I'm sorry, I couldn't find a proper way to make this sentence simpler (or more accurate because acting out and fly off the handle are quite specific... I just reduced them to illogical) 😭 I added in the meanings to two difficult terms that I think you might be having trouble with in understanding the sentence.

and yes, I got confused when I first read this lyric.

Now I want to know what do "people tell us we are not acting logically" do. they give us advice on what to do? or just remind us that we acting stupid?
