a lot of people use it, but it's not a very nice thing to say. I think it's a very vain thing to say. Someone that is considered fresa it's supposed to have money, they like branded stuff, and they are considered to be anoyin by people that aren't part of their circle of friends. However a lot of people are ok using the term fresa for themself and their friends, using it as a funny compliment. Someone that is considered naco, doesn't have much money, the stereotype is that they like banda, regaeton, and cumbias. They normally don't dress very well and behave poorly. They could say piropos to random girls in the street, or use a lot of slang when they talk, or add s at the end to words that don't have it, etc.... being call naco is never considered a good thing. Sometimes between friends you might call someone fresa as a joke just for small, stupid thing like going to Starbucks or going on vacation to a nice place. Friends can also use the word naco for fun, but it's not very common, actually the people that would use naco as a funny coment to a friend are normally the people that don't mind being call fresas.
Over all they are just silly stereotypes xD

those are 2 bad adjetives
naco is who dont have money, dont not speak correctly and its a dumb
fresa is who think is so cool, have a little more resourses and act like if be a perfec person, but both are just prejudices
- Spagnolo (Messico)
Both are for people with bad/poor taste, The difference is that fresa has or feigns to have money, naco has bad taste and does not have or at least does not feigns to have it.
- Spagnolo (Messico)
As albertpineda said, you shouldn't use those adjectives, only a naco would use them, OMG TIL, i am naco.
- Coreano
@gizqmo haha At least I didn't use that, I just saw many mexicans sort by naco and fresa. I heard that what that mean but really confused to understand it.
- Spagnolo (Messico)
Fresa que se la pasa presumiendo
Naco que se viste sin que sus prendas convinen y aparte que tienen un lenguaje incorrecto

A piropo es an ingenious phrase that you say to a person to flatter them, with the purpose of wooing. They are a lot funny ones, but there are a lot of sexual ones too. The sexual ones are normally very vulgar.

@woohyuk The sexual ones are sometimes called piropos de albañil, because it's very very common that the workers in a construction site tell them to girls that pass by. Here you can see a lot of them. I bet there are a lot of words you won't undertad because they are euphemisms for words like, butt, vagina, bobs, etc.

And here are some of the funny ones, I've always heard piropos told as a joke or as something vulgar
