Domande Inglese (Regno Unito)
I guess the word “lovely” which is more common to used in the UK compared to in the US as not the meaning of the “cute” though.
How do Brits use it in general conversation?
And is it normal that men use it?

It means something pleasant. Mostly women use it especially if they’re older, but men can too. To me it sounds a little cheesy if it’s not an older woman saying it haha
‘It’s a lovely day.’
‘That’s a lovely dress.’
‘What a lovely little girl!’

"Lovely" is a stronger version of "nice" or "pleasant." It's quite different from "cute." It's completely normal for men to use it.
EXAMPLES:
"Your dog is lovely."
"That meal was lovely."
"Verona is a lovely city"
"We had a lovely time in Italy."
"He is a lovely guy."
