Tell = 知らせる, 命令する, 言う
Teach = 教える, 仕込む

I will teach the students to write kanji = 学生に、漢字を書く方法が教える。
I will tell the students how to write kanji = 学生に、漢字を書く方法が教える。
I will tell the students to write kanji = 学生に、漢字を書くように命令する。

She taught me how to tie my shoelaces and do math. ✔ (教える)
She taught me to tie my shoelaces and do math. ✔ (教える)

She told me how to tie my shoelaces and do math. ✔ (教える)
She told me to tie my shoelaces and do math. (命令する)

I will teach my dog how to do tricks. ✔ - You can teach a dog.
I will tell my dog how to do tricks. ✖ - You can't talk to a dog.


またTellは「言う」といういみです。
She told me that she will be going to the party tomorrow.
I will tell everyone about the flowers.
