If you know absolutely nothing, it'd be best to learn some grammar first
If you're into manga, I like these two textbooks

If you're referring to reading material and you already know some and have a bit of experience reading, Yotsubato is a really good place to start IMO, since it uses simpler vocabulary and furigana for everything, I'm currently reading it

Finally, if that was too much of a jump and are still learning to read but still want reading material, graded readers are perfect
