If I'm talking to guy named for example 田中, and I want to say to him "You are tall" can I say "田中さんは高いです". Can I use his name against "あなた"?

田中さんは背が高いです
it sounds a bit strange if you’re talking to 田中.
Because it sounds like you’re telling someone else but 田中 that 田中 is tall.
Even if you use あなた instead, it still sounds strange.
「田中さんは背が高いですね」
「田中さんは背が高いですよね」
It sounds natural.
And we say 背が高い(せがたかい) when we describe a tall person by the way.

It's okay to use his name or you can also say to him, just "背が高いですね.".
It is apparent you're talking about his tall, so you can omit "you".
