Is it just my impression, or doesn't native English speakers use "is/are" so much when they're informally speaking?

When I'm seeing a movie I often hear and read (in captions) people speaking like "You cold?" instead of "are you cold?", "You seeing that?" instead of "Are you seeing that?", "They probably just wilding out" instead of "They are probably..." and stuff like this
