we don't say died because ....we think it's a word you are using directly for someone's death
we think that we should not express it directly because it MAY hurt someone
that's why we use the word expired ☺️

Indians believe in karma so we also believe that everyone comes with an expiry date. Usually not time, but limited number of breaths. That's why we stress breathing deeply.

we actually do say died, although passed away and expired are more common. expired is mostly used in medical context

@justaddcream Yes, that is a form of breathing yoga (Pranayam) and it creates peace in your system. It's one of the beginner's practices that one has to do in yoga before they go into meditation. So its goal is to equalise the left and right halves of your body. If you want to explore this subject more, look up "Ida and pingala" :)

@Nabhanyu i don't like getting into these things alone because I only stay interested in it for a few days I wish I could take some yoga class but there aren't any in my area

@justaddcream That's a wider decision to learn yoga directly from a teacher. But some kinds of yoga can be learnt reasonably easily from an online tutorial video and it can benefit your life, increase immunity, etc. So if you're interested, I can suggest links.
