eye passes sounds weird in Endlish, though that's how I would translate it word for word from my native language. It's meaning is "irritation will passes"
Do I need to clarify what exactly needs to pass: irritation, pain, redness, etc. Or can I say it just this way - eye will pass?

You don't need a specify what is actually irritated because you specify that earlier in the sentence when you said they poked that thing in their eye.

I hope that makes sense this is a confusing sentence lol

@asia1mccellon 'Your eye feels better' and 'the irritation passes' do make sense. The confusion was that in my native language we would just say 'Your eye passes' which come to think of it doesn't make much sense, but this is the way we say it. Just tried to use the same pattern in English, but it felt like it wasn't the way you say it.
