@hemhemx2 You could say something similar "I'll be back soon". Also we say "see you later".

Do you mean what should you say to your family when you leave home? We usually just say "goodbye".

@daisydays @peterj99 erm, sorry for the late response.
Anyway. For example, in Korea, when we go to school or go to the movie or like that, we usually say, "다녀오겠습니다", which mean "I will back" or "I'll back soon" in literal translation. But I felt that's a kinda weird thing to say in English so I wrote this question.
Do you think that sounds natural? If not, what would you say if it were you?

@hemhemx2 Oh, okay I get it.
It totally just depends. There’s no set expression that we always say.
Some things I myself say when leaving the house:
- I’m heading out. I’ll be back later. (If leaving for a longer time like half the day or the whole day)
- I’ll be back in a bit. (If only leaving for an hour or so)
- I’m running out for a bit. I’ll be back later.
I personally don’t say “bye” if I’m just leaving the house to run errands/go to usual places. I usually just say where I’m going and that I’ll be back later.
Other people might say bye though, especially if they’re the ones staying in the house. (Again, this is just my experience.)
Examples:
Child: I’m heading out now.
Mom: Okay, bye! Have fun at school!
Me: I’m running to the grocery store. Do you need anything?
Brother: Can you get some more eggs?
Me: Okay. I’ll be back in a little bit.
Me: I’ll going out for a bit.
Mom: When will you be back?
Me: I’ll be back soon. I’m just going to go get coffee with some friends.
Mom: Okay. Drive safe.
