Imagine the situation - you're in the restaurant and someone recommends you coffe and you don't really want it to drink so my question is how to answer them politely? You can just say'' I'm fine ''? Or if you answer '' no, thanks ' does it sound rude or something like that?

Yes, you can just say "I'm fine, thank you." or "I'm okay, thank you." or "Thanks, I'm okay for now."

There's nothing wrong with "No, thank you" but it sounds formal. You might say it to a waiter at a formal restaurant, not a friend at a cafe.

@djungs it’s perfectly fine to say, “I’m fine thank you” or “no thanks” I would avoid saying just “no” because that would probably be received as rude.
